Inspiration
The inspiration for our solution was the availability of the ecological footprint information together with the ability to motivate people to live more sustainable using gamification and incentives.
What it does
By showing the Co2 and animal welfare indicators of each purchase we enable MIGROS customers to stay aware of their ecological footprint. At the same time each purchase gives them the chance to win one of the sustainable products offered by MIGROS which can enable a positive experience with (maybe a new) sustainable product, triggering more sustainable purchases in the future.

Challenges we ran into
Finding the right mixture of motivation and plausibility in connection with the purchased products. Appropriate preparation and analysis of the provided data to leverage the information we actually want to use.

The design and functionality of our system.
What we learned
The amount of information available about the products at MIGROS fascinated us very much and not only inspired this product, but has given us some food for thoughts.
