#48 M-AI

The inspiration for this project arose from the need for readily available relevant and up-to-date data to high-schoolers. It is an AI chatbot that helps to provide data and information that is needed for high-schoolers who are potential applicants to Morgan State University. We built it using Javascript for the front-end and Python for the back-end. It was quite challenging to use the AzureAI platform at first. We are proud of our ability to learn and adapt to the Azure AI and make use of it. The next step for our product is to expand the relevant data it has access to and also possibly broaden the universities covered.

I worked as the Cloud architect and Backend Engineer. I wrote python scripts for web scrapping. I also handled deployment and API endpoint creation as well as RAG implementation

I worked on cleaning the data and making sure the data set was intact with up-to-date information. Did research into the integration of AzureOpen AI resources and react app.

Oluwasegun Soji-john
I was the Project Manager. I kept track of the team’s progress and milestones. I reviewed the data and scrubbing of the manual input of University questions. Also I performed research in order to provide the manual answers to the University questions we used for our AI Service.

Naja Revell
I worked on the Ui/Ux and front-end part of the application with react and css.

Integrated the Azure Open AI with the React Application.
Deployed the Application to the Azure web Services. :D
