Inspiration

Hajj is the largest annual gathering in the world. Muslims from all over the world and of many different cultures and backgrounds convene in Mecca to perform Hajj. Usually, there are many emergency cases in many fields such as health, crowd control, traffic control and suspicious person. so; it needs the faster detect and reaction so we suggest utilizing the drone to become a smart device that interacts in case of emergency.

What it does

We improving the drone using image and voice pattern recognition from machine learning to become a smart drone that can detect and handle some emergency cases behaviors within its location and send it into corresponding organization members based on the distance (shortest path from urgent cases) to handle Crowedmanagment and Traffic control. Furthermore, medical issues, fire, and suspicious person. In some cases, we utilized IoT to take corresponding re-action to solve that emergency case without needing the human management.

How I built it

by learn the drones how to detect the emergencies using the concept of image and voice pattern recognition, then send notifications to the nearest responsible members (shortest path distance) and take suitable reaction to solve it - in some case drone itself can solve the issue using IoT-.

Challenges I ran into

• How to learn the drones in the crowded environment likes al-hajj to detect the emergencies?
• Merging machine learning and IoT to solve some urgent cases without human interaction. *How to deliver an innovative solution that interacts with the real dynamic crowded environment? how to detect medical emergency cases, fire, and suspicious person.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

• Add the new technique to Alhajj environment to decrease the human work.
• increase the availability to the resources in the time of emergencies. *Merging machine learning and IoT to solve some urgent cases without human interaction

What I learned

Utilizing the drones to detect the emergencies using image and voice pattern recognition. Applying AI in a drone. detecting locations of emergency cases. Improving pattern recognition in Al-Hajj environment to deliver a novelty to detect some cases.

What's next for M-050-Smart Hajj Drone

Develop all functions of front-end and back-end to detect and solve some cases in crowd management, traffic control, health care without needing for human interactive (IoT,AI, and Machine Learning).
