Inspiration

We enjoy singing karaoke and performing on stage.

What it does

It plays a song's soundtrack and allows the user to sing, checking whether the user's singing matches the correct lyrics. Users can choose from a selection of pieces to learn, or upload their own lyrics and soundtrack to any song of their choice.

How we built it

We used Javascript, Python, ElevenLabs, and Flask.

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to make the accuracy of the voice detection correct.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have implemented the feature that compares text to voice.

What we learned

We learned how to use APIs.

What's next for Lyricize

We can add the ability for Lyricize to detect if the user is singing the correct notes or not.
