What it does

Lyft for Chome adds custom Lyft buttons when searching for directions, businesses, or email.

How I built it

Lyft for Chrome is a simple Chrome extension that manipulates and inserts elements into the page. It utilizes the Lyft API for requesting rides.

Challenges I ran into

I was not able to finish the project due to a late switch in project ideas along with school work. This was also my first time creating a Chrome extension.

What I learned

I learned the basics of creating Chrome extensions along with some valuable tools from tech talks.

What's next for Lyft for Chrome

I plan to finish Lyft for Chrome and add in calculations for driving time that includes ETA (GitHub repo will be updated)
