Inspiration
When Mother Nature decides to kick in, we have no other option than to go with the Flo and scramble to find pads or tampons. BUT, what if you don't have any feminine products on you? The horror! The bloody horror!
What it does
Our webapp is designed to help girls locate other girls who have feminine products at their disposal in their general area.
How we built it
We used HTML and CSS and made our logo and other pictures with Adobe Illustrator. We also used a Google Maps API
Challenges we ran into
We were not sure how to turn our basic HTML website into something cleaner with CSS. We also did not know how to use an API and were unsure how we wanted to do location tracking. Also, we were not sure how large our scope would be because we considered having a messaging feature on the website so girls could communicate with each other.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to turn a very basic HTML website into something snazzier and more appealing to the eye.
What we learned
We learned how to use Git, anchor links in HTML, Google API's, and how to incorporate Adobe Illustrator files into our website.
