Lunch Time

Inspiration

We have all been that student who have had their lunch by themselves.

Lunch Time is a start-up platform with a focus on providing access to lunch friends.

We are building our platform using Python, Kivy, AWS RDS, SQL

We found that the 36 hours we had wasn't enough time to implement all the features we wanted to for the lunch platform.

This was the first time any of us had used Kivy as well as AWS RDS in a project.

We learned that things can be hard.

We plan on finalizing our platform.

I worked on back-end, developing a way to search for specific users from the database. It was my first time doing a project in python, and learning how query the SQL database being stored in AWS from Josh was cool!

I worked on a little bit of the back-end and front end. This was my first time doing a project in python as well as Kivy. It was interesting to see that we had two sides of development with SQ/AWS and Python/Kivy and how they both came together.

I worked on laying down the basic project layout as well as the front end. Along with my teammates, it was the first time using Kivy.

I worked on the backend of user bio input. I generated a code in python that validates or ensures most relevant fields are filled in like name, and especially their preferred location and time for lunch since that is what matches people together on this app.
