🌟 Inspiration In rural India, millions still lack access to timely, trustworthy healthcare. While Ayurveda offers a rich tradition of holistic healing, it's often overlooked due to unstructured data and poor accessibility. Modern medicine, though effective, is not always easily available or understood in these regions.

We envisioned Luna as a bridge — combining ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with modern allopathic medicine, powered by AI. By making this blend accessible through a clean, multilingual mobile interface, Luna empowers users to take control of their health journey — in their own language, with both time-tested remedies and modern insights.

💡 What it Does Luna is an AI-powered mobile app that provides personalized Ayurvedic and Allopathic remedies based on user symptoms. Key features include:

🧠 AI chatbot and voicebot trained on both Ayurvedic and Allopathic datasets 🌿 Suggests remedies, dosages, and precautions — personalized by age, symptom, and weather 🌍 Multilingual support for better rural accessibility 📍 Nearby hospital locator using geolocation 📚 Built-in educational resources and FAQs 🌓 Supports both dark and light themes for better usability

⚔️ Challenges We Ran Into Designing a unified knowledge flow that blends Ayurvedic and Allopathic remedies without overwhelming the user. Curating reliable Allopathic remedies and integrating them consistently alongside our Ayurvedic dataset. Ensuring natural language understanding across different regional expressions and medical terms. Maintaining a clean UX while offering powerful features — especially with multilingual design constraints.

🏆 Accomplishments We’re Proud Of Successfully merged two vastly different medical systems into a single AI experience. Built an accessible, multilingual mobile app that can run smoothly in low-resource areas. Developed a custom healthcare dataset tailored to real user needs. Created a solution that feels tech-forward yet remains grounded in local healthcare traditions.

📚 What We Learned How to build and structure a domain-specific hybrid AI (Ayurvedic + Allopathic) using LangChain. Deep insights into UX/UI for rural users, especially the elderly. Designing for extreme accessibility — including multilingual support and offline readiness. How design simplicity and AI complexity can (and must) coexist for impact-driven solutions.
