🚀 Inspiration
I am 13 years old, and this idea came to me after some of my weak passwords got leaked. I felt the fear of losing my accounts and decided to learn cybersecurity and build a tool that protects me and also helps others.
🔧 What it does
PassGuard is an interactive web tool that:
Generates strong and customizable passwords.
Checks the strength of any password.
Teaches cybersecurity through daily challenges.
Supports 3 languages: Arabic, English, and French.
🛠️ How we built it
I built the project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and hosted it on Netlify. I added a modern interface and educational ideas to make it useful and easy to use.
📚 What I learned
How to combine design with security.
How to use GitHub and Netlify to deploy a real project.
Most importantly: how to turn a personal struggle into a solution that benefits the community.
⚡ Challenges
The short time frame of the hackathon.
Adding many features while keeping the design simple.
Balancing schoolwork with building the project.
🌍 What’s next
Add a secure login system for personal tracking.
Build a dashboard with security statistics.
Expand PassGuard into a mobile application.
Log in or sign up for Devpost to join the conversation.
