Inspiration

Our college student and not even college students, most of the student and kidz nowadays face mental health problem which they don't talk about and later they face major consequences.

What it does

LUMINA is a biosensor patch and e-skin display that measures the "Interoceptive Accuracy Gap"—the hidden biological distance between a user's actual physiological stress and their conscious felt sense. By visualizing this gap as a "river" on the skin, it provides early, stigma-free detection of depression stages and suggests micro-interventions without ever using clinical labels or transmitting raw biometric data. It helps the user not to go to any mental illness, basically it prevents the user from going into any mental illness like depression, anxiety, by detecting it before through some biosensors. As these sensors detect everyday human body activity and give a list to user and also calculate if the user is getting into any stages of depression or not.

How we built it

It was inspired basically from indian culture, bindi- as indian always wear bindi and it's in fashion also. The user will use it without hesitation. Also it can be placed behind the ear- inspired from pimple patch.

Challenges we ran into

How to make it user friendly and what the user will generally wear it 24*7, also what can be futuristic but also functionable. After a long brainstorming session we came into this idea.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learned a lot about the existing devices and tools which are currently functioning or is in prototyping stage which I was unaware.

What we learned

How can we so such massive task within the time limit, time management. Also coordinating with the group members, listening to them, their ideas.

What's next for LUMINA

A high end product which will solve many life worldwide, people will stay happy free from stress and anxiety.
