Well I didn't know ruby on rails before I started, so there's that.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We have actual companies using our platform for their actual health insurance management. That was kind of a big deal when our first customer came online.
What I learned
I went from essentially an application developer at Microsoft and Google to a full-stack web developer. So many cool technologies out there that didn't exist back when I was in school- I'm amazed at the progress the web development community has made, and I think the scale and impact a single dev can have.
What's next for Lumii Health
We're in the process of raising our seed round, and looking to hire both frontend and backend engineers in the next 2-3 months.
