Inspiration

We built Lumi Hub to empower creators who want to sell digital products — like ebooks, templates, guides, and other downloadable content — without dealing with clunky tools, delayed payments, or complicated delivery systems.
The creator economy is thriving, but most platforms charge high fees, restrict payouts, or create barriers for non-technical users. We knew we could do better — faster, cheaper, and more secure — by combining blockchain technology with modern development tools. That’s where Bolt.new came in.

What it does

Lumi Hub makes it effortless to sell digital products — especially content delivered in PDF format, such as ebooks, reports, or templates.
It provides:

• Fast, secure payments via the Algorand blockchain
• Instant, encrypted delivery of digital files after purchase
• Clean, no-code storefronts that anyone can set up in minutes
• Automatic listing on a public marketplace — as soon as a creator uploads a product, it becomes publicly discoverable

Whether you're an author, designer, educator, or indie creator, Lumi Hub removes the friction so you can focus on creating and earning.

How we built it

Lumi Hub was built entirely using Bolt.new — an AI-powered, browser-based environment for building full-stack TypeScript applications.

Tech stack:

• Bolt.new – Used for writing, editing, previewing, and deploying the full application entirely in-browser
• TypeScript – Used across both frontend and backend for scalable, maintainable code
• Supabase – Provided user authentication, database services, and secure file storage
• Algorand – Enabled instant, low-cost crypto payments
• Tailwind CSS – Used for rapid UI design and responsiveness
• Netlify – Used for hosting and domain management, making our production deployment seamless and reliable

With Bolt.new handling development and Netlify powering deployment and domain hosting, we built Lumi Hub entirely from the browser — fast, simple, and efficient.

Challenges we ran into

• Navigating Bolt.new’s early-stage tooling: It's powerful, but still evolving. We had to adapt to its structure and AI-powered interface.
• Payment and delivery timing: Ensuring that digital files (especially PDFs) were securely delivered only after verified Algorand transactions required tightly integrated backend logic.
• Marketplace visibility: Creating a system where uploaded products automatically go live — while maintaining security and discoverability — took careful planning.

Accomplishments we're proud of

• Built and launched a full-stack digital product platform using only browser-based tools
• Delivered a seamless crypto checkout experience using Algorand
• Enabled real-time, secure delivery of digital files (especially PDFs) with access control
• Designed a no-code onboarding flow that helps creators go live in minutes
• Created a live digital marketplace where products are published instantly upon upload — no approval or waiting required
