Lumen is a mobile app that allows you to remotely turn off lights, air conditioning, and other appliances. Using your phone's GPS system, Lumen can also be adjusted to automatically turn these devices off for you when it detects that you are away. In addition, Lumen can connect with multiple phones in your household, turning off appliances configured to each person, and will only turn off all lights if no one is at home. The automatic feature of Lumen is the most important feature of the app, this takes away responsibility from the user, making it appealing for all audiences.
