Luma x Web 1.0

Inspiration

Our inspiration was Angelfire and Geocities websites from the 2000's era with their eye-catching colours, abstract layout, and nostalgic feel.

What it does

Users can view important information about the wabi-sabi event, meet the team, and register in a not-so-simple-to-use interface.

How we built it

We used Figma.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we ran into was the animation for the banner which we figured out through the help of mentors and youtube. We also had a melt down about what way we wanted to take the design before ending on our final design.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of making something fun and unique that reminds of us a simpler time when it was a lot easier to be a UX designer.

What we learned

We learned how hard it is to make a bad design and how you have reverse psychology yourself. Also, how to make buttons work to connect to pages.

What's next for Luma x Web 1.0

Use it for EVERY socratica event going forward.
