Inspiration

Ordinary translation can preserve a puzzle's words while destroying its solution. LUDOLINGUA is being developed for puzzle studios, escape-room designers, and educational publishers who need to preserve what players notice, infer, and discover across languages.

What it aims to do

The planned workbench connects clues to their reasoning dependencies. Authors identify properties such as answer uniqueness, discovery order, and a wordplay mechanism. Localizers compare coordinated adaptations, inspect tradeoffs, edit clues in context, and prepare target-language playtests. A side-by-side solution map and portable export keep the clues, answer rules, hints, and unresolved review items together.

Development approach

The first planned episode combines English and Spanish word-order deduction with an acrostic. Bounded solution enumeration and explicit validation will distinguish a checked adaptation from a translation that breaks the mechanic or cannot preserve it under the chosen constraints.

NVIDIA Nemotron on Nebius is the intended creative adaptation component. Live model execution, implementation completion, and native-language playtest results are not yet verified. Software checks will establish only encoded properties, not equal difficulty or cultural suitability.
