Inspiration

Indoor games are fun , like playing with family and friends ! Making holidays better ! So we thought to make it more interesting, adding leds , sound effects , to make it more lively game !

What it does

1) Ludo board customised with electronics on which our project is build 2) Leds glows whenever player changes the game position in the board 3) arduino due reads different some of the electrical contacts on the board to collect some game state data and send to laptop 4) laptop runs a python script which reads the game state and plays some pre-recorded audio clips as per game state 5) arduino nano used for microcontroller for dice 6) lcd to display the dice roll results 7) io extender for lcd to connect lcd with nano without many connections 8) Activities on 1) dice - made of microcontroller and lcd 2) gets 6 3) out 4)safe zone 5) home boundary 6) home

How we built it

Leds glows whenever player changes the game position in the board. Arduino due reads different some of the electrical contacts on the board to collect some game state data and send to laptop. Challenges we ran into

It was quite difficult to arrange hardware components and making it work in two days.

We are proud that we completed the project and it runs successfully.

What we learned

We learnt to work with Arduino and testing many other features .

What's next for Ludo king

We will try to add more fun elements to it.
