Lucidity - The Trap

Inspiration

All of this started with an experience I once had. During some of my dreams, I became conscious almost awake yet the dream continued for what felt like minutes. That strange experience sparked the idea for this entire story. For a long time, I wanted to create this movie, but high subscription costs stopped me from even starting. Later, when I came to know about this competition and great free tools, I finally decided to make it happen

What it does

This movie will basically present a powerful and interesting story based on lucid dream. Lucid dream is basically dream where in dream dreamer gets aware that hi/she is in dream.

How we built it

I thought as I can shoot the movie using AI, like I use to do if I have real actor and a high budget camera and production house. Then after creating all scene I started to edit it and created the final film.

Challenges we ran into

The most challenging part was generating perfect scene as required. It even took like whole day for creating just 10 secs of the video.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

After creating to full film, I asked my friends and family to watch the movie, and they are just surprised about the story and the whole movie and even they are waiting for the next part.

What we learned

After the whole experience of creating the full short film using AI only, I came to know now I can create a full 3 hour movie with only using AI If I have a good story.

What's next for Lucidity - The Trap

This movie just open the door of what next is coming. At the last I also announced the next part LUCIDITY - THE SCAPE
