My inspiration for this app was my friends that were talking about their struggles with learning the pronunciation for certain words as immigrants from across the world, I wanted to make this app so that people around the world would be able to better learn spelling and pronunciation in order to hopefully make them have a better quality education.

The app shows the pronunciation as well as the spelling of certain words and then makes them answer questions by giving them the spelling and makes them self-check if they got the pronunciation correct.

I built it with the thunkable app.

I ran in to the challenge that the thunkable app had a maximum of 5 slides per project which is a challenge that I had to work around.

I am proud of the fact that I not only learned how to use thunkable but I was able to display my abilities with thunkable by making an app which benefits people from around the world.

I learned that Thunkable has its limitations but it also has its advantages and I learned about the features of Text to Speech and other features of Thunkable.

I will change certain things to make more slides for the app and then I will add much more questions and words to give the app more substance and then I will also add a point counter where the user can gain points and there will be a leaderboard for the people with the most points, there will also be a star system where people can get stars for harder questions and answer streaks which then they will get a shop list where they can get certain avatars and collectibles as trophies.
