I wanted to create a large explorable VR environment, with many different points of interest.
What it does
Allows you to explore a virtual island using Google Cardboard.
How I built it
The environment was designed in Unity 5 and coded in C#.
Challenges I ran into
Creating a low poly terrain mesh was trickier than I expected.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Creating a virtual campfire complete with simulated 3D sound.
What I learned
Unity is great for VR applications because of its amazing performance even on mobile.
