Inspiration

One of us works at a coffeeshop here in Montreal. There is no centralized system for organizing restocking of supplies, so we decided to fill the need with a technological solution.

What it does

Low on Beans allows employees and managers to keep track of when stock is running low, and automatically alerts the designated restocker of each item.

How I built it

We used Xcode to build an iOS app, as well as Sketch to design graphics.

Challenges I ran into

Learning a new language and interface overnight.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Making our first app at our first hackathon!!

What I learned

That hackathons are really fun and full of food and helpful, kind folks.

What's next for Low on Beans

More functionality and features, making it more appealing and useful for businesses and users.
