Inspiration
Seeing the name Metaverse is getting popular each day. I wanted to create something like that myself. So I created a metaverse where each building is an NFt which can be bought or sold and each buyer would have their space in the metaverse to do what they see fit
What it does
It is a ThreeJs metaverse where you can mint a home for you and your loved one. You can then decorate it using whatever NFT you seem fit.
How we built it
I used React three fiber, three js, solidity and hedera hashgraphs SDK to build it
Challenges we ran into
There were so many challenges trying to shift to a whole different chain. Etherium based chains are much easier to work with. I had to learn an entirely new way of programming. My solidity smartcontract did no work. I had to completely re-create the project with only 4 hours remaining. Three js was also very hit or miss considering it was my first time working with it
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The fact that I actually used the Hashgraph SDK and the entire frontend and backend code works. Just a little more time would have ensured a MVP
