Love and Rain is a surreal Horizon world where music, visuals, and illusions shift with perspective—immersing users in the many emotional layers of love.

I'm married and a father of three and have grown and nurtured my family. I see so much conflict in the world and on the platform I wanted to be a positive change and create worlds that brings anyone and everyone together in an ambience and mental space that cultures imagination and unity.

Love and Rain is an immersive VR experience created for the Meta Horizons Hackathon—designed to explore the many faces of love through sound, art, and interaction. Every space sings a different song, and each step takes users through a new emotional landscape, both familiar and surreal.

Set within a multi-layered abstract structure—built like the layers of emotion itself—this world features spatial audio, dreamlike aurora skies, floating hearts, and a Japanese maple sculpted like a heart. The environment shifts and evolves as users move, encouraging emotional exploration and self-reflection.

Built with Meta Horizons gen ai typescript and typescript from scratch, Meta horizon assets from asset library, Design Models sculpted In Blender And 3DS Max and textured in Adobe Substance Painter.

From Concept To Finish the biggest challenge was tying in all my ideas together from spatial sound for music to compelling pieces that provide optical illusion and profound meaning as well as music choices to match the theme and overall archetype of the world itself.

Ive received amazing feedback from players that love to hangout in the world even fall asleep to the ethereal rain sounds and music I provided and be a place for them and anybody to find solace or community in a positive environment with amazing visuals.

Ive grown so much from making this world, Ive sparked a fire in me I had forgotten and am animated to create more and explore new ideas and horizons to make worlds unlike anyone has done or seen before.

Whats next for love and rain is holding events to bring people together whether their looking for love or community and incorporating Custom Ui games and trivia to entertain and get a deeper understanding on positive concepts such as love, commitment, Compassion, Compromise and deeper understanding of themselves or each other.
