Inspiration we were inspired by the Halloween aesthetic and wanted to counter the vilification of the witches in the media.
What it does it is a visually appealing animation for social justice against discrimination based on the idea that love and kindness should not be conditional for social groups.
How we built it we built through Procreate animation. We first designed a moodboard and then a digital illustration and then went into the animation.
Challenges we ran into we had no programming background and had several problems in undertaking frames and colours.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
What we learned we learnt how to power through our own fears. Digital art and animation seemed a daunting task but given the strength and importance of our theme social justice, we worked through it all.
What's next for Love Potion For Social Discrimination
We cannot wait to engage in social commentary through digital animations.
