We are Old is Gold, two CS students and one ISE student from NUS with experience volunteering with at-risk seniors. For A1, we want to help outreach coordinators answer a practical question: with limited volunteers, which neighbourhoods should they investigate next?

SilverWatch Reach will show priority areas on a Singapore heatmap. Clicking an area reveals its score, contributing factors and source years. Coordinators can check existing AAC outreach, select areas and allocate volunteer pairs before exporting a visit plan. The proposal screenshots use illustrative data.

We will combine senior population growth, one-person household share, seniors in small flats, low work-income households and seniors per AAC. Public data can suggest areas worth checking, but it cannot confirm which seniors are isolated. Older household data and incomplete centre information will be flagged.

During the two-week build, we plan to seek two social worker reviews and compare the tool with a senior-population-only shortlist. We will measure planning time, whether coordinators understand the scores, and which recommendations they accept or reject.
