Inspiration
The main inspiration was 80s pop music, especially the early work of Madonna.
What it does
This is a 3 minute, high-energy music video that visually maps the stages of falling in love to chemical reactions.
How we built it
The music video was developed with SINtience and raw electronic vocals.
Challenges we ran into
Like the career of Madonna, we ran into controversy with the original version of the song as some interpreted scenes that visually do not match up to what is actually shown.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Once again our layering technique cut way down on the production time.
What we learned
People can see whatever they want to see even when it comes to video.
What's next for (Love is just) Chemistry
Originally, it was intended to be on the A-side of a music album and debut on Spotify but those plans have been canceled and the song and album remain in limbo.
