Lotus

lotus was inspired by the idea that building a website should be as simple as describing your vision, yet most tools today are either too complex or too limiting. i wanted to create a product where anyone can turn an idea into a fully designed website without writing code. while building lotus, i learned how to structure AI prompts to generate usable UI, connect frontend systems with dynamic outputs, and design experiences that feel clean and human rather than AI-generated. i built lotus using Next.js for the frontend, Vercel for deployment, and a prompt-based AI system that transforms user input into structured layouts and designs. one of the biggest challenges was making the output consistent and high quality, since AI can often produce messy or generic results, so i focused heavily on refining prompts and enforcing structure. another challenge was creating a polished interface that feels like a real product, not just a demo. overall, lotus represents a step toward making website creation faster, more intuitive, and accessible to anyone.
