Inspiration

As designers, we noticed a real gap in the animation marketplace. Existing platforms limit customization and styles, and creators often see their premium work sold with unlimited access, earning very little. While AI has overtaken the stock image and video market, Lottie animators are still irreplaceable. We saw huge potential for a platform that truly values and protects creators.

Why with Bolt 👈

After launching lottiebox.com on Product Hunt with my partner Saloni and winning Product of the Day, we realized our platform wasn’t scalable. As UI/UX designers, we refunded subscriptions and searched for developers—facing setbacks and disappointments multiple times. Then we discovered Bolt.new, the world’s largest hackathon for non-devs. We haven’t started building yet, but we’re excited to dive in tonight and see what we can create in just 48 hours.

What it does

lottiebox.com aims to be a curated marketplace for buying and selling premium Lottie and Rive animations, empowering creators and offering buyers unique, high-quality motion graphics.

How we plan to build it

We’ll use Bolt’s no-code tools to rapidly prototype and launch our platform, focusing on user experience, creator protection, and a seamless marketplace.

Challenges we expect

Time is tight—we have just two days and are starting from scratch. As designers, we’ll be learning new tools on the fly and adapting as we go.

Accomplishments we hope for

We want to launch a functional MVP within 48 hours, connect with fellow creators, and prove that good design and determination can overcome technical barriers.
