Inspiration:

My inspiration for this app came when I got to know about the mental health crisis and how people feel helpless during this situation. Then, after I researched about it, I found some ways through which people can express themselves, and the first way I found was journaling. Then I thought to do something about it, and here it came alive.

What it does:

It is a journaling app that helps users to log in their mood and journal, after which the app AI analyses the pattern of the user's mood and gives results based on it in the form of charts and text. The app also has resources that contain small breathing exercises, daily affirmations, and grounding techniques that help during anxiety.

How we built it:

I built it through vibe coding by giving a very specific prompt, keeping the UI fresh and alive.

Challenges we ran into:

The challenge I faced was to keep the UI the same as I wanted after each and every prompt I was giving to meet the specific changes.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

I'm proud that I was able to make what I was looking for.

What we learned:

I learned about APIs and how prompt engineering works.

What's next for Mood Mender:

I want everyone who's struggling with the problem to use the app.
