Inspiration

After watching a YouTube video where two friends play a video game, one was blind folded and the other directed her. We thought that it would be fun to have a game where one person is able to see our little robot friend and the other is able to have control it.

What it does

A multiplayer video game that allows two players to choose which character they will play. The game involves communication and trust between both plays in order to beat the game. One player is able to see the robot while the other player blindly controls the robot.

How we built it

We built our video game using Unity, designed it using Figma, drew assets by hand on Sketchbook, and used C# through VSCode.

Challenges we ran into

Learning how to use Unity as it was many of our first time using it and even more experienced member had trouble using the software.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to get working scenes, we persevered through our issues and got many things to work out. We're also proud that we created our own assets which includes drawings and an audio. We also got a functioning backend .

What we learned

We became more experienced with Unity and more familiar with many of its features. We generally learnt more about game development.

What's next for Lost in Space

We hope to add more levels, add more features to our icons, and add background music that can be adjusted using your settings icon.
