Lost and found Portal web application

The idea for this project came from the common problem of losing valuable items in colleges and public places. We wanted to create a centralized digital platform that helps people easily report and recover lost items. Through this project, we learned about frontend and backend development, database management, user authentication, and CRUD operations. We also improved our teamwork and problem-solving skills. We developed the application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, along with a backend technology and a database to store item details. The system allows users to post lost or found items and search for matches.
