Inspiration
Investing for all ages and all people regardless of skill. We want to create a trading platform that appeals to everyone while also promoting companies' stocks and index funds, which help everyone as they help the environment.
What it does
It serves as an online trading platform that is available to all people while promoting those companies and funds who help the environment and so, therefore, help everyone while also promoting a community between fellow investors using the platform near you!

Finding and parsing the database of stocks, deciding on a method to advise selecting recommended stocks
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Working as a great and coordinated team is definitely the front runner but alongside that, furthering our abilities and being able to think proactively about a project is a major skill we have all gained throughout this hackathon.
What we learned
We learned how to work and communicate as a team and how to learn from one another and those around us as we strived to accomplish a goal that we may have previously believed to be too farfetched for a group of freshmen.
What's next for LORX
We hope (beyond this Hackathon) to incorporate an algorithm driven by machine learning/artificial intelligence to better select recommended stocks. Alongside this, we hope to further our users' experiences by tailoring their portfolios to their individual needs. Finally, we hope someday to be able to add robo-advising functionality for our users to better our service and cater it to as many people as possible regardless of how active they want to be for their finances as we will be there to help.
