Inspiration
I have always loved choose-your-own-adventure stories like books, RPG games etc. I have prototyped a few choose-your-own-adventure games in various platforms like vanilla JS, Godot etc. But for this hackathon with the multiplayer aspect, I had the great idea to not create just another choose-your-own-adventure story, but a story builder. There is also an end-of-story poll to allow players to interact and decide together, the fate of the next stories.
What is LoreTogether?
LoreTogether is an community driven choose-your-own-adventure story. Authors can create their own stories with dynamic choices, and run end-of-story polls to let readers determine the fate of their story! Created for the Reddit and Kiro: Community Games Challenge.
What are the next steps of LoreTogether?
I'd like to review and increase performance and accessibility, including the max number of pages. I ran into storage issues quickly trying to use PostData and had to switch to Redis.
I would also like to add some new features, such as entire dynamic pages per choice's selected.
