Inspiration
"My dad's bike broke in the middle of the night, and no workshop is open." Said Fatsyah. He contemplates how often our bike or vehicle might break, and more often than not, no workshop is available, whether it's because of the time, or location. To top it off, lots of Vocational High School Graduates will often get no job. So this app might offer them a solution so they can work as a vehicle technician as long as they have the certificate.
What it does
Think of this app like an Uber, but instead of finding a driver that will bring you from one place to another, this App will help you find a technician nearby who could help you with your reparation needs.
How we built it
Figma. That's about it. You're free to play with our clunky prototype.
Challenges we ran into
We know nothing. Like, nothing at all. It's even our first time using Figma. So we had to learn Figma from the ground up while also building this project with its tight time limitation. We got nothing figured out when we started this project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The fact that we made it this far, even though we know nothing at all, nada, zilch. We never thought that we would truly make it, even more so when building this around the wonderful people of GarudaHacks with their even more extensive development skills. Our insecurity might be tingling all the time, but our perseverance soars higher.
What we learned
We learn that less is more. We pruned lots of our ideas, for the sake of getting things done. We also learned Figma, YAY! >:D
What's next for Autotech
If we were given more time on this project, we would like to improve the UI & UX. Gotta admit it feels rather clunky, all over the place even. Also, we would like to implement some of our ideas that got lost during this one-and-a-half-day development. We want to make it on par with the industry standard. But all in all, we're grateful enough that the folks at GarudaHacks offered us this opportunity in the first place. We wouldn't be here without them.
