Inspiration
There is a lot of "quarantine covers" floating around and all of them are pre-filmed. I wondered if it would be possible to create a service to stream a music performance (of possibly multiple musicians) live to viewers.
How
A person records themselves with their audio input and send it to the distribution server. The next musician sends the same audio, but with a small delay (this is timed, by a synchronised metronome) and so they can play music "live" together.
Progress
Currently just an idea. I know some backend and am well-versed in react, but building this would require someone well-acquainted with WebRTC. If there is someone who did something similar, please contact me and we can work on this idea together!
