Inspiration Inspired by time loop paradoxes in films like "Primer" and "Donnie Darko", combined with Alice in Wonderland's rabbit symbolism. We wanted to explore the horror of meeting yourself across different timelines and question whether helping your past self is salvation or condemnation. The labyrinth represents the inescapable nature of predetermined fate. What it does The film follows a girl trapped in a temporal labyrinth, guided by mysterious figures in rabbit costumes. When she enters a door and transforms into a rabbit herself, she meets her past self and tries to escape. The revelation that the rabbit guides are all versions of herself, and that her elderly future self (Yanga) orchestrated everything, creates a perfect paradox where salvation IS the trap. How we built it Created using Google Veo3 for main sequences and CapCut for editing and effects. Developed a visual language where each timeline has subtle color grading differences. Rabbit costumes serve as visual markers for transformed versions. Used match cuts and seamless transitions to show the loop's circular nature. Sound design emphasizes the echo of footsteps multiplying across timelines. Challenges we ran into Maintaining visual consistency across multiple versions of the same character at different ages. Making the rabbit transformation believable while keeping it unsettling. Conveying complex timeline interactions without dialogue. Balancing the reveal timing - too early ruins mystery, too late confuses viewers. Accomplishments that we're proud of Created a coherent time paradox narrative entirely through visual storytelling. The rabbit costume design works both as horror element and timeline marker. Successfully portrayed three versions of the protagonist (present, past, elderly) interacting meaningfully. The ending recontextualizes the entire film on rewatch. What we learned AI excels at creating surreal, dreamlike sequences perfect for psychological horror. Visual motifs (rabbits, doors, corridors) can carry narrative weight without exposition. Veo3's consistency helps maintain character identity even through transformations. Time loop stories benefit from AI's ability to generate variations on themes. What's next for Loop Expanding into a series where each episode reveals a different character's perspective within the same loop. Exploring what happens when someone breaks the cycle. Creating an interactive version where viewers choose doors, affecting the timeline. Developing the mythology of why the loop exists and whether escape is truly possible.
