loofti.com lets you connect with and support local businesses during lockdown: help now by making plans with friends for better times

Purpose

There are lots of sites that let people help during COVID-19, and lots that let people buy, but none I know that connect the two directly enough. I'm trying to much more closely align customer/merchant incentives, narratives, and value generation. b/c that's how biz works best!

Loofti.com (short for Looking forward to it) helps you support local businesses now by making fun plans with friends for later.

No accounts, no sign-ups: users just start by planning visits with friends to the local businesses they love and miss. Loofti will then:

For customers:

• send the invitation to the group
• include info on how to support the local businesses involved, now
• allow subscription to owner updates from these favorite places
• inform the group when these destinations start to open back up!

For business owners

• share motivating aggregated info about customers who can't wait to visit again when safe
• drive business to gift cards, online/delivery sales meanwhile to help them stay supported and in business
• allow them to keep in touch with interested customers, to stay top of mind, and
• create a communication channel to groups of interested customers as business begins to return to normal, for special offers, events, and other ways to re-establish customer relationships.
• allow their biggest fans to make small donations to help them get online for business, if less technically savvy.

We'll do all this while preserving customer privacy.
