Long Term Investment Calculator

Inspiration

My inspiration for this project was my love and interest in investing and how I can find a way to integrate my computer science skills with it.

What it does

It calculates any future value of investments made given the age of making the investment.

How we built it

I built it entirely on C#.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges that I ran into making this program was becoming comfortable making a c# project from scratch. This was the first time I had made a project from scratch which allowed me to learn a lot of skills that I have taken for granted.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I have built this calculator with a lot of functionality. (Inflation rate, any age range, and yearly contribution amounts.

What we learned

I learned how to build a project from scratch on c#. Additionally, I feel much more comfortable navigating the GUI.

What's next for Long Term Investment Calculator

I would like to make an investment calculator that can integrate the use of graphs.
