Inspiration

Loneliness is a growing issue in our digital age. I wanted to create an AI-powered companion that could provide support, conversation, and a sense of connection to users who may feel isolated.

What I Learned

I learned how to integrate AI APIs, manage state in React, and deploy modern web apps using Vercel/Netlify. I also improved my skills in TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.

How I Built It

The project is built with React and Vite for the frontend, using TypeScript for type safety. I used Tailwind CSS for styling and integrated AI services for conversational features. The app is deployed on Vercel for fast and reliable hosting.

Challenges

One challenge was managing asynchronous AI responses and ensuring a smooth user experience. I also had to learn how to properly structure a scalable React project and handle deployment issues.
