Inspiration
We realized that while we work, our hand is constantly resting on the mouse. We wanted to leverage the mouse's unique haptic features to transform it from a passive input device into an active wellness partner that keeps you grounded.
Features
- 🧘♂️ Interactive Yoga Trainer: Real-time pose detection checks your form and counts down your hold time automatically.
- 🫁 Haptic Breathwork: Follow rhythm-based vibrations on your mouse to lower stress levels instantly.
- 👀 Vision Guard: Intelligent reminders prevent digital eye strain during long work sessions.
How we built it
- Hardware Control: Logitech Plugin SDK (C#)
- Computer Vision: OpenCV & YOLOv8
Challenges we ran into
- The Learning Curve: Learning C# and how to use the Logi Actions SDK over a weekend
- UX Tuning: Tuning the haptics to feel calming and intuitive
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Getting a working Logi Actions Plugin prototype which can actually lower your stress levels using a breathing guide, yoga guide and helping you keep your eyes focused by reminding you to take frequent "eye-breaks".
What we learned
- Coding in C#
- Making Logitech Plugins
- Detecting Poses using Vector Math and YOLO keypoints
What's next for Logitech Plugin
- More Poses: expanding the library to include neck rolls and standing stretches.
- Smarter Placement: making the camera logic robust enough to handle different webcam angles.
- Posture Guard: implementing detection that gently warns you if you've been slumped over a prolonged period.
