Inspiration

We saw that it was more difficult for people living in rural areas to sell their home-made products efficiently and teach urban areas for a more widespread network, so we decided to create an online resource which makes this job easier.

What it does

Lohg 2 Lohg is a resource that was created to connect sellers and buyers of locally sourced and home-made food, as well as home-made crafts located in rural areas. It creates extra income for those who want to sell their home-made products and deliver these to urban areas, which other delivery and selling services don’t always allow.

Challenges we ran into

We faced issues with the chatbot such as it not accepting responses from the user but we somehow made it work. The chatbot responds with auto-responses.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting the chatbot to work. Making a functional login/sign up page. Finishing up the website.

What we learned

From the statistics of the survey, we concluded that people do want more products to be made from products from rural areas. They are willing to use this app. Sharpened HTML, Java, and CSS skills. Learnt how to make a chatbot through working together and seeking help from mentors (Aditya). Learnt more about the selling and buying resources for rural areas.
