Inspiration

We were inspired by the Bing search engine use of ChatGPT and wanted to see how we could leverage this technology for ourselves.

What it does

Translates scientific language into more easily digestible terms and optionally provides the user with formatted AI generated outputs.

How we built it

Using Python and openAI's ChatGPT API

Challenges we ran into

Setting up the Python environment for collaboration and implementing a proper front-end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The ability to parse a .pdf and provide a summary at the click of a button.

What we learned

How to properly use chatGPT and call the API to use it with code.
