Inspiration: The recent Blacksburg break-ins were part of our inspiration. What is does: Contacts the closest emergency contact to you because if you are actually in trouble, calling your mom who lives on the other side of the country isn't going to help. How we built it: We used react native. Challenges we ran into: We ran into challenges because Stephanie and Talia had never used javascript before so we struggled with understanding how to write the code. Accomplishments that we’re proud of: Stephanie and Talia were proud of their accomplishments they made to the login screen and home screen because of the lack of knowledge about javascript they had prior to this competition. What we learned: We learned how crucial it is to come up with an idea and stick to it. What’s next: Ideally, we would like this to be a fully functioning app but that would require someone who has more knowledge of javascript. Built with: React native
