Inspiration
We were initially inspired to make this project by fog-of-war effects found on video game maps.
What it does
When going over a set area on the map that can be revealed, the player can choose to do so. The player's goal is to get 100% completion on a map. This app encourages OU students, particularly new ones, to discover all of the areas of campus.

The user is rewarded for discovering new areas.

After an area is unlocked, its contents are revealed, and the user's progress is tracked.

After a user has unlocked an area, they can remind themselves what the area is, allowing the app to be used as a genuine informational tool by new students and visitors.

How we built it
The app was made using SwiftUI and can run natively on iOS devices.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
What we learned
Throughout the development of this project, we learned how to use SwiftUI, the built-in libraries, and how to recover lost map data.
What's next for the project
We hope to continue expanding this idea to the entire town of Norman, eventually giving each location a name, description, and specialized quest line to unlock the area.
