Location Finder

Inspiration

Sometimes when we are out of town or abroad, we want to look for something like a cafe or bar. However, we are too busy or too tired to search one by one through search engines and reading specialties, atmosphere and location. with this application it will simplify and speed up the search process because it has been summarized to get location, specialties, atmosphere, etc.

What it does

It summarized attraction spot that we try to search and make bar search more smiley and speed up the search process

How we built it

I built it with Ruby on Rails and bootstrap, with simple design.

Challenges we ran into

• need a lot of validation
• I am not sure about what variable to add to the search field, so the search will be more specific and accurate

I learn about Google AI

What's next for Location Finder

• Integrate with Gmail: user can login to the apps, get search history and option to email the results.
• Integrate with Google Calendar: user can set reminder or event.
• Integrate with Google Maps: user didn't need to search the location again on maps because it is already provided by the apps.
