Inspiration

Field service dispatch and contractor coordination often rely on vulnerable communication channels, manual scheduling delays, and unverified work orders. We created LocalPro Enclave to bring zero-trust security and proactive ambient intelligence to trade services using Alexa+ and Model Context Protocol (MCP).

What it does

LocalPro Enclave is an autonomous, zero-trust dispatch agent built for Alexa+. It processes hands-free voice requests to verify contractor identity, orchestrate trades, optimize local scheduling via MCP, and maintain cryptographically secured authorizations with edge enclaves.

How we built it

  • Voice Interface: Custom Alexa+ conversational interaction model built with the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK) for ambient dispatch requests and spoken confirmations.
  • Context & Tool Routing: Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration to securely connect the agent with local trade calendars, technician availability, and inventory data.
  • Serverless Execution: AWS Lambda handles real-time voice fulfillment, trade dispatch routing, and policy execution.
  • Frontend Interface: Cross-platform Flutter client for field technicians and admins to track jobs, review cryptographic tokens, and manage schedules.
  • Data & Enclave Security: Amazon DynamoDB for low-latency schedule synchronization, paired with AWS Key Management Service (KMS) for zero-trust access verification.

Challenges we ran into

  • Balancing conversational flexibility on Alexa+ with deterministic, zero-trust access boundaries.
  • Coordinating multi-party dispatch (client, dispatcher, and technician) with low latency across voice and mobile clients.
  • Structuring resilient offline failovers when field technicians lose local network connectivity.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Designing a hands-free workflow where complete service calls can be secured, matched, and dispatched via simple voice interactions.
  • Seamless event orchestration linking Alexa voice commands directly to Flutter mobile apps and AWS serverless infrastructure.

What's next for LocalPro Enclave

  • Multi-modal visual dash cards for Echo Show and smart displays with live map routing.
  • On-device voice biometric authentication for high-value contractor payments and work order sign-offs.
  • Automated IoT sensor integration to trigger preventive maintenance dispatch automatically before equipment failures occur.

posted an update —

Just finished the visual command layer for LocalPro Enclave.

Added 4-agent squad:

  • Sentinel (security monitoring)
  • Oracle (Gemini 2.5 Flash planner)
  • Vault (AES-256 encrypted storage)
  • Scout (local intel discovery)

12ms latency, 4/4 connected. Phone-first on Pixel.

Gallery updated with new Atlas Data Sphere cover replacing old placeholder.

Next: Demo video and final submit. Just finished the visual command layer for LocalPro Enclave — Atlas holding the encrypted data sphere.
