We’re passionate about discovering hidden gems—whether it's a local restaurant, quirky café, or street performer. LocalLore was born from our love of travel and exploring new places.

What It Does

LocalLore is a crowdsourced map and list of hidden entertainment and cultural spots, such as:

Restaurants

Bars

Unique venues

Bookstores

Parks

Street performers

Board-game cafés

Users can:

Submit new "hidden gems" with descriptions and tags

Browse an interactive map

Filter by category (restaurant, café, entertainment, bookstore, park)

Upvote, favorite, and contribute to existing gem listings

Database: MongoDB Atlas
