I have built an AI-powered solution that helps hostel and paying guest students new to a city who have no local knowledge so they can find the best nearby clinic or hospital using verified reviews.

Inspiration

So basically, I live in Rajasthan, India, which is a major coaching hub state. In my neighbourhood, I have seen many hostellites or paying guest students who have moved in from a different city, facing many difficulties in finding medical solutions, healthcare and the best hospitals in times of emergencies.

What it does

It is basically a dashboard for hostel and PG students. The user enters their location and health need. The AI pulls data from Google Maps, review platforms, and public health directories, scores each nearby facility on quality, recency, and relevance, then displays a ranked list with a Trust Score per facility — showing why each was recommended and what real users experienced.

How we built it

Built using Bolt AI and claude sonnet 4.6

Challenges we ran into

We had some issues while creating the UI designs and fixed it using claude sonnet 4.6 by optimal prompts and our capabilites.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

LocalLens is a fully functional product- any student or person who needs urgent medical needs can use it! Also, the trustscore feature is quite accurate.

What we learned

Learnt using Vibe-Coding Apps such as Bolt and also learnt many prompting techniques used to make tasks easier and productive!

What's next for LocalLens

I am about to share LocalLens with my friends and families, so that they can use it as soon as possible and get the best medical solutions possible! Also thinking about some campaigning to increase it's reach!
