Farm Fresh Food!

What it does

LoCal collects information about the local farms in the area, the produce they provide and presents it to you in a web app. LoCal can show you the nearest farms, the produce that they make and generate you recipes based on what ingredients you added to your shopping list. It also takes your shopping list and shows it against Canada food Guide Data.

How we built it

Blood, Sweat, Coffee, and some programming skill :).

Challenges we ran into

Making the recipe generator, generating our data pool.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have a recipe generator! All you have to do is put your ingredients in and specify any special restrictions and a seleciton of 10 recipes will be displayed.
