Local Food for All

Inspiration

We were reflecting on why we have not been buying from local farmers ourselves, despite knowing the advantages. One of the main reasons was inconvenience. Some local farms have their own websites, some are on social media. But one would have to do a lot of searches to find what is available nearby. So we thought of building an app which would connect local farmers with consumers, people could access the info more conveniently, thereby making the demand for local farm produce sustainable even in post-Corona times.

What it does

It is an app where local farmers could register their produce and consumers could look for what they want.

How I built it

Due to other commitments we have over the hackathon weekend, we have only come up with a concept for the app (please see the presentation attached).

What's next for Local Food for All

Figure out the technical details and build the app.
