Inspiration
Life in the modern world is disjointed. No intelligent connection exists between the various apps people use for tasks, notes, health tracking, reminders, finances, and relationships. We wanted to create a system that functions similarly to an external brain, one that remembers everything, comprehends context, and _improves people's lives_ rather than just keeping them organized.
The notion that technology should comprehend and support human life holistically rather than merely store information served as the impetus for LiVo.
What it does
A proactive AI life assistant, **LiVo** assists users in intelligently managing every aspect of their lives.
It is capable of:
- Record data from documents, voice, images, and text.
- Over time, retain significant life details and context.
- Send out intelligent reminders according to time, place, and routines.
- Keep track of your objectives and divide them into manageable steps.
- Retain relationships by keeping track of important dates and conversations.
- Connect lifestyle patterns to offer insights into wellness.
- Raise financial literacy by providing insightful information on wise spending.
LiVo functions as a connected life intelligence system rather than just another productivity app.
How we built it
Gemini 3 provided a powerful foundation for building **LiVo**, due to its ability to handle various kinds of inputs, such as text, screenshots, photos, and documents and process all of that information in an effective way using multimodal AIs.
With Gemini 3, we focused on the following areas:
- Understanding Context ~~ Interfacing with ordinary conversations to derive actionable information.
- Multimodal Intelligence ~~ Processing and linking multiple formats of information with multiple sources.
- Smart Memory Simulation ~~ Creating the ability to retain and recall life context in a logical manner.
- Reasoning/Pattern Recognition ~~ Helping recognize habits, routines, and behaviours over time.
The intent was not just to use Gemini 3 as a model, but rather as the basis of the intelligence behind LiVo.
Challenges we ran into
1. Creating a balance between providing users with non-intrusive proactive recommendations.
2. Responding to unstructured inputs from daily life (random notes, screenshots, audio notes)
3. Designing a supportive, human-like system instead of a robotic one
4. Addressing potential concerns about the privacy of personal information.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Creating a framework that can **link aspects of life** such as relationships, health, and goals.
- Developing a product concept that is both _futuristic and useful_.
- Creating compelling real-world applications outside of productivity apps.
What we learned
-- Better connected intelligence is what people need, not more apps.
-- Raw data is not as powerful as context.
-- In AI assistants, emotional intelligence is important.
-- User interaction must be simple.
-- Privacy and trust are just as crucial as features.
What's next for LiVo
- Better privacy with on-device memory
- Improved pattern recognition with long-term behavior data
- Voice-first communication
- Dashboards for personalized lives
- Real-world beta testing to enhance personalization and intelligence
